BIO:
Christian, originally from Miami, Florida, completed his undergraduate studies at Florida International University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in 2019. He then pursued his Juris Doctor degree at the SMU Dedman School of Law, graduating in 2023, where he also served as an Articles Editor for the SMU Law Review Association.
Christian focuses on oil, gas, and energy law, concentrating on complex title examination across Texas and New Mexico. He regularly prepares Division Order and Drilling Title Opinions for oil and gas companies, guiding operators through intricate chains of title, burden calculations, leasehold issues, and ownership disputes. His work is grounded in careful analysis and practical business judgment—delivering opinions that are not only technically sound, but operationally useful.
In addition to his title practice, Christian has gained exposure to corporate and transactional matters through prior in-house experience with a Dallas-based commercial bank and investment banking platform. That experience informs his broader understanding of risk allocation, capital deployment, and how legal structure supports strategic growth.
Christian and his wife, Amanda, began dating in college and are enjoying building their life together in Dallas. Outside the office, he spends most of his time training his dog, trail running, and spending time with family.
