BIO:
Vincent is Of Counsel at Childers Hewett Slagle PLLC, where his practice focuses on oil and gas, mineral title, renewables, and complex energy transactions. For more than 16 years, Vincent operated both a law firm and a land and title company, representing clients across the full spectrum of energy and land matters - from leasing, title curative, and division order issues to large-scale due diligence and acquisition work.
Vincent has significant experience across the Eagle Ford, Permian, Haynesville, and Appalachian Basin, as well as other major basins and plays. He has led due diligence teams on acquisitions valued in the hundreds of millions of dollars, including transactions nearing $450 million, and has advised clients on a wide range of title, leasing, curative, and ownership issues involving complex energy assets. His practice has also included substantial work in the renewables sector, particularly in connection with solar development and related land matters, as well as Texas land investment and development matters, including the structuring, capitalization, acquisition, and subdivision of ranch properties.
Having worked extensively in law, land, title, and transactions, Vincent offers clients a practical understanding of both the legal issues and the operational realities that drive decision-making for operators, developers, and investors. That perspective allows him to deliver commercially informed counsel grounded in how energy deals and title matters actually unfold in the field.
