What’s your favorite part of working at Childers Hewett Slagle?

It is the vibrant and inclusive company culture. The collaborative and supportive environment fosters a sense of camaraderie, creating a workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered.

What are some career lessons you’ve learned thus far?

I’ve learned that attention to detail and organization cannot be overstated. Precision is crucial in the legal field, especially when dealing with complex title issues.

Why did you decide to pursue the career you have today?

During my time in law school, I had the opportunity to take some truly exceptional oil and gas classes that not only expanded my knowledge but also ignited a genuine fascination for the legal complexities within this industry. The challenges and opportunities presented by the constantly evolving energy landscape appeal to my proclivity for complexity and problem-solving.

Are you a sports fan? Who are your favorite teams?

Football holds a special place in my heart. In the NFL, my loyalty lies with the iconic Dallas Cowboys. On the college football front, I proudly support the Texas Longhorns.

What’s your favorite Holiday?

My favorite holiday is Christmas!! I absolutely adore Christmas decorations and love listening to Christmas music.  

What’s your favorite movie?

Talladega Nights, Step Brothers, and Kicking and Screaming. I’m a huge Will Ferrell fan.

What’s one thing on your bucket list?

I would love to see the Northern Lights or go on a safari in Africa.

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

I would love to learn how to fly a plane. I think that it would be so cool to fly myself from one place to another.

What's something about you (a fun fact) that few people know?

I grew up with a ton of farm animals and have a pet cow named Mary and a pet longhorn named Callaway. Hook ‘em!

What is the last book you read?

The last book I read was the Jessica Simpson memoir!
